I haven’t done a cooking post in a little bit and I thought I could give you all some ideas on what to eat for breakfast. We all don’t have time to make a huge breakfast or let alone even eat it sometimes but breakfast really is important for you and it can also be delicious. Here are some recipes that you can try and some of my favorites I like to have in the morning.
Nutella and Banana Toast– I love this combination so much because you have that sweet taste from the Nutella and a crunch from the toast and a fruity taste from the banana. This probably takes five minutes to make and I definitely would wake up early to have this.
Omelet Waffle- You mix a few eggs together and pour the batter in the waffle maker. You can add bell peppers to this, tomatoes , spinach anything really and its really good.
Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie- For this you will need ,1 large banana, peeled, 1 cup ice cubes, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1 heaping Tbsp. peanut butter, and 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract. I love the way tropical smoothie makes there peanut butter smoothie so I tried to recreate it lol.
Yogurt, Granola and Strawberry Bowl – In a small bowl , add your favorite yogurt. In this type of recipe I go with yoplait vanilla yogurt. I add this because there are so many flavors in this recipe I rather keep the yogurt something easy any fruit can blend with. Once I add this I add strawberry pieces in the yogurt and top it off with granola.
Cinnamon and Oatmeal Pancakes – For this recipe you will need ,1 cup white whole wheat flour, 1 cup Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 cups buttermilk, 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temperature, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. This does take about twenty five minutes but you can always make them the night before.
